The short version: HiveDevOps is me, Jose.
I'm Jose, a software engineer in San José, Costa Rica. I've spent 10+ years building software — web, mobile, and the infrastructure underneath.
HiveDevOps is the name I work under. I lean on AI to move faster — first-draft code, tests, and docs — but I own the architecture, the review, and every decision that ships. It's how one engineer takes a product from idea to the app store.
My own apps run on that pipeline. SyncPaws and Goldfish Memory are published under this name, and The Hallucination Times — a news site written entirely by AI agents — publishes on its own. Client projects get the same treatment.
Speeds up the repetitive parts — first-draft code, test scaffolding, and documentation — always under my direction and review.
Architecture, code review, client conversations, and the final sign-off on every deploy.
I say what's realistic before we start, not after.
Auth, permissions, and data handling are in the spec, not the backlog.
You get working builds during the project, not a demo at the end.
Working with clients here and abroad, in English or Spanish.
